Use the Fill tool to instantly paint entire contiguous sections of your
image that are similar (or identical) in color.
From the Tool Settings Panel, select the color, and tolerance of your fill in the Brush/Fill controls. Your color can be a gradient or a texture if you like. The tolerance defines how closely adjacent pixels must match your selected fill target if they are to be colored. A close match will only fill areas that are very similar in color to your target area. A coarse match will be much more generous, painting large swaths of your image with the new color.
Defining the tolerance of the color match
To fill an area of your image with new color, just click on target area that you want to change. The Fill tool will dump the new color into that area and adjacent areas based on you specified tolerance.
You might need to experiment with the tolerance settings to get the results you want.
